Useful against anterior blepharitis and meibomian gland dysfunction (MGD). It is effective against the demodex.

  • The anterior blepharitis and the MGD are the most frequent causes of evaporative dry eye.
  • It is a multifactorial disease involving environmental, constitutional, autoimmune, dermatological, etc. factors.
  • The demodex folliculorum is a saprophyte parasite that plays an aggravating role when multiplied in excess, as happens frequently in patients with blepharitis.
  • The overpopulation of these microorganisms can obstruct the meibomian glands.
